Tailwin (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Tailwin mobile application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address, name or display name, and authentication identifiers.

User‑Generated Data

We collect data you choose to provide, including workout metrics (such as 2k, 5k, and 6k scores, meters, time, splits), events, streaks, and performance statistics.

Device & Usage Information

We may collect limited technical information such as device type, app version, and crash logs to improve app reliability.

2. Public Visibility and Social Features

Tailwin is designed to foster community and showcase athletic performance. By default, user accounts are public. If you choose to log benchmark metrics (such as a 2k, 5k, or 6k score), your display name and performance history become publicly visible to other users browsing the App, which may include peers, recruiters, and coaches.

If you wish to keep your account effectively private and use the app solely as a personal tool, you can do so by choosing not to log these specific benchmark scores.

3. Data Integrity and Enforcement

To maintain a fair and trustworthy leaderboard, all users must submit honest and accurate performance data.

• Accuracy Policy: Falsifying workout metrics or submitting fraudulent scores violates our Terms of Service.
• Enforcement: We reserve the right to audit suspicious scores. Accounts found submitting unrealistic or fake performance data are subject to immediate and permanent suspension, including the complete removal of all historical data.

4. How We Use Information

• Provide and maintain the App
• Display workouts, leaderboards, and statistics
• Improve performance and usability
• Respond to support requests and enforce our integrity policies

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with service providers required to operate the App or when legally required.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time within the App. This permanently removes your personal data, workout metrics, and account information from our active public databases, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children’s Privacy

Tailwin is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, we encourage you to discuss your use of this App and the public visibility of your data with a parent or guardian.
